Born from a season of change and inspired by the beauty of handmade craft, quixotically is a leather journal brand rooted in care, creativity, and community. After being laid off from a job I loved, I discovered the world of journal-making and it became a healing practice. What started as a personal journey quickly grew into a way to connect with others.

At quixotically, each journal is handcrafted with intention, love, and hope. I believe beautiful, meaningful stationery shouldn't be out of reach. That’s why I’m committed to creating custom, affordable leather journals for anyone seeking a space to reflect, dream, or simply be.   • Each of our journals is handcrafted with a deep love for the art of journaling and made using high-quality, ethically sourced leather and supplies. We include thoughtful details like charms, personalized stamping, and gift wrapping at no extra cost because we believe your journal should feel as special as the thoughts and memories you’ll fill it with.

    This all began as a personal hobby, and honestly, I never intended to turn it into a business. But after so many kind stationery lovers encouraged me to share my work, I decided to start offering them for sale. I don’t aim to make much profit, this is truly a passion project. Creating these journals brings me joy, and my greatest hope is that they make you feel seen, valued, and inspired.

    That said, I understand $100+ isn’t affordable for everyone. If you’re a student, going through a tough time financially, or simply can’t swing it right now, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I offer sliding scale pricing and would be honored to work with you to create a journal that fits your budget.

  • Our leather is sourced from US suppliers. We have both Italian and US leather available. Please reach out if you have any specific questions about the leather we source.

  • Yes! I can ship domestically in the US as well as internationally. Shipping for US friends is a flat fee of $15. International friends, please inquire for shipping fee.

  • Drop off is available for our friends in North Carolina depending on your location. Please see list of cities below that are eligible for drop off. Cities within 30 miles of these are also included.
